Update On Children Of Neinzul Donations For Child's Play

As of December 30th, 2010, we have so far raised and donated $10,529.71!

We didn't quite hit our goal for the year, but we did raise a substantial amount of money -- and also, bear in mind that a lot
of the money generated in 2010 is actually paid on
"net 30" or "net 60" terms to us, meaning that money generated in 2010
will still be arriving as late as February 2011.

Given that foreknowledge, it looks like we will be very close to our goal by the end
of January or February. We'll keep posting monthly
updates on how the donations are doing, so check back even in 2011!

More About AI War: Children of Neinzul and Child's Play

When you purchase AI War: Children Of Neinzul, you're not only
getting an exciting new expansion, you're also supporting an important cause. Arcen Games has partnered with the
Child's Play charity, pledging 100% of the profits from sale of
Children of Neinzul (excepting any taxes and distributor fees) to helping sick kids in need.

The staff at Arcen has long admired
the work done by Child's Play, and we're very excited to finally be able to contribute in a substantial manner. Our
goal was to raise $14,000.00 USD for Child's Play in 2010, but even after 2010 all of the proceeds from this micro-expansion
will continue to be donated to the charity.

At the moment, this micro-expansion is available directly through the Arcen Online Store ($3.99 USD), as well as through Steam, Impulse, and GamersGate.

How to do Goal's Celebrations on Fifa 11 for Xbox 360 and PS3 Console?

Fifa 11 was a very fun football game at all. There is a great feature in this game that allows us to celebrate the goal after scoring. Wow, this certainly is a pride for us all. But at least, the goal's celebrations can only be done on the PS3 console and the Xbox 360. I've never heard of this done in the PC version.

And this time, tutorial celebration has been available in the video version that is easier to understand than just text alone. The video also gives some list of celebrations that you can do and control your player after scoring. Let us act like a player who has scored a goal, show the style of our celebration to our loyal fans.

So, the video is as the answer for the title's question, how to do goal's celebrations on Fifa 11 for Xbox 360 and PS3 console?

AI War Beta 4.058 Released!

We're still on holiday break until the 3rd, but this new release has some updates that we'd been working on before the holidays that we finished up today, and some other fixes.

Included in this one are, most notably, six new AI types for the Light of the Spire expansion.  That makes a total of eight for the expansion, which is going to be the final tally -- the focus was mainly on other kinds of features.  This also adds in 24 new achievements, 23 of which are for the new expansion and one of which is for the base game.

Additionally, we fixed that longstanding-since-Unity-porting bug with the trial mode not always being recognized until a restart of the application after an expansion was disabled or validated.

Lastly of major note, there's also a new ability on almost all self-attritioning units where they now won't self-attrition when in low-power mode.  For golems, Neinzul Younglings, etc, this is a pretty major change.

And there were actually a couple of other small fixes, see the release notes for details.  Enjoy!

This is a standard update that you can download through the
in-game updater itself, if you already have 4.000 or later. When you
launch the game, you'll see the notice of the update having been found
if you're connected to the Internet at the time. If you don't have 4.000 or later, you can download that here.

AI War Beta 4.057 Released.

This one is another tiny maintenance release.

Fifa 11 AC Milan Best Formation and Squad

By default setting, Fifa 11 has made 4-3-3 formation for AC Milan. The formation is very deadly in ball possession and also attack. However, the 4-3-3 scheme is also good in defend. Then, what's the best formation for AC Milan today in FIFA 2011? I Think 4-3-3 is the best. You can play Zlatan Ibrahimovic alongside with Robinho and Pato as the strikers. In the midfield line, there K.P. Boateng, Pirlo, Ronaldinho or Ambrossini. And in the back line, you can use Zambrotta, Thiago Silva, Abate, and Antonini. Very solid formation at all for AC Milan.

Then, you can try your experiment in the formation, switch between one player with others so will result the best in your taste and style. By the way, AC Milan inhibited by many top players squad like: Abbiati, Zambrotta, Nesta, Thiago Silva, Antonini, Flamini, Pirlo, Ambrossini, Pato, Ibrahimovic, Ronaldinho, Robinho, Seedorf, Boateng, Gattuso, Inzaghi, Oddo, Yepes, Abate, Jankulovski, and more. They are the combination young and veteran players. If one player is injured, you easily find other players to replace him in AC Milan squad.

For all your processing needs

As all you readers by now would have already guessed, whenever there is little or no interesting cricketing action going on, my attention diverts to something new. And, this time as well, with the third Ashes test scheduled after Christmas and a week more to go before the second test between India and South Africa is bound to start and last but not the least, the series between Sri Lanka and West Indies being put off owing to rains, something worthy would obviously mean in visiting the site for Credit Card Processing Leads. It was not only the lack of cricket matches that led me to explore the site for Merchant Processing Leads but, my needs also dictated the same.

Not all things are shared by people with their friends and if this is being shared among you readers, I need not tell you how interesting this can be and helpful also at the same time. This can be the case even if it is Sales Leads that you are looking for. You got to be lucky to be reading this post for, you people need not suffer like me in an attempt to find the most fascinating and exclusive real time leads no matter what.

A gift for South Africa

Well this has always been the case with test matches between India and South Africa be it in India or in South Africa. So far a neutral venue for such a series has not happened. Coming to the point, this time as well, like usual India have lost the first test against South Africa which is evident from the scorecard. This is the second time in the year that the two countries are facing each other for a full fledged series that involves test, one day and T20 games. Of course, who can forget the earlier encounter this year between the two countries?

One need not be reminded the way Hashim Amla from South Africa emerged the most economical player with the bat by remaining not out in all but one occasion and needless to be said specially was awarded the man of the series. And, coming to the big occasion, this was the series where Sachin Tendulkar scored his the first double century in the history of one day or limited overs cricket. Well, past is past and in the ongoing series in South Africa, India have started on a bad note by losing the 1st test by an innings margin. But, is this the end of all?

Bad need not be bad always for, it is the bad first that turns into good later. For more details, you can approach the cathara beneath the maskara though this has got nothing to do with yesterday's match. For onlookers, team India fared very badly especially when the margin of defeat reads an innings and 25 runs. But, I wish you think once again! India are touring South Africa which is a totally different experience considering their recent tours against Australia and New Zealand which were played at home with limited success. India should have won all three tests against new Zealand.

With the venue being new to team India, initial hiccups can be given an excuse for, the world champions Australia couldn't draw even a single match during the recently concluded Border - Gavaskar trophy. In the first innings where India scored 136, more than the South African bowling line up, it was India's newness to the country and the pitch which was evident in the second innings when India fought until the end by amassing 459 runs despite ending on the losing side. Taking the 1st innings into consideration, India should have failed even more miserably. But, there was Dhoni, Sehwag, Gambhir and Dravid in addition to Sachin Tendulkar who showed confidence.

India did lose the match but gained a lot in terms of experience and confidence.

Infinity Blade: Angry Birds Killer Game

Infinity Blade a 3D sword iPhone fight game by Epic Games has made a new record on Apple App Store. The game has managed to bring profits just in a week after its release on App Store and got the title of the fastest-grossing app in the all history of the Apple's money-machine store.

It is known that more than 300,000 people are playing the 3D iPhone game on Apple's Game Center network and it means a flat $1.8 million in game sales ($5.99 a copy). However, Epic Games CEO has stated that these numbers are even low because not all gamers are there who bought Infinity Blade.

Infinity Blade is a very impressive iPhone game, especially the graphics render quality are top-notch.

Infinity Blade currently outsells legendary Angry Birds iPhone game.

Casinos after a long time

With my day running so bad with cricket in both the corners at Australia and South Africa turning out to be a bore, my attention automatically switches to none other than my best friend after my readers and my favorite subject cricket, online casinos. Awesome, splendid etc have been my common words to describe the sport of online casino and this time it would not be so, for you guys know exactly what it is. And, I'm damn sure that I need not ask you to click above to see which site I've just spent my day in a decent manner.

Fifa 11 Game Settings Mode

Yeah, for all of you who have installed the game Fifa 11 into your PC or laptop, of course already know that the Game Settings is a mode or menu that is very crucial. You will be able to arrange everything through the Game Settings menu. Once you first entered to this menu, there will be 5 menu you can choose, Display Configuration, In Game Keyboard, Menu Keyboard, Controller, and Audio.

In Display Configuration, fans can set resolution, rendering quality, MSAA options, and rendering options. In game keyboard, to set the button on your keyboard to play in gameplay mode Fifa 11, then Controller menu, to arrange the button using gamepad, and Audio to adjust the sound in the game. Hope this information can help.

Kallis breaks Ganguly's record!

Well records mean records and they don't make a difference whether they are for the good reasons or for the bad. And, the case is exactly the same when it comes to the South Africa's most experienced batsman bowler all - rounder when he scored his first double hundred in tests (obviously). Prior to this feat of Kallis, his highest score in test match cricket was 189 which he scored against West Indies way back in the late 2003. With four players in history to have crossed the 300 run mark twice, Kallis feat is well short of reasons to celebrate. But, lots to be satisfied with.

Atleast now, Kallis need not retire with a bad mark that none of his 38 hundreds in test match cricket had a double hundred. One double hundred is better than none of them to his credit whatsoever. Kallis is way ahead compared to the Waugh brothers - viz Mark and Steve with stats suggesting that Steve Waugh had just one double hundred while Mark Waugh had just one score above 150 in tests, let alone double hundreds. So has been the case with the former India captain Sourav Ganguly who scored his first double hundred in his last test match against Pakistan in 2008.

Likewise, the England all - rounder Andrew Flintoff retired from test cricket last year after winning the Ashes without a single double hundred against his name. This was the last thing that was expected from one of the world's most promising all - rounder. Flintoff has been responsible for England's Ashes victory on two occasions. With that apart, few other examples include Sri Lanka's world cup winnings captain Arjuna Ranatunga whose highest individual test score is an unbeaten 135 against Pakistan in his 4th year of serving his country in international cricket. That score stood as his highest individual score for 13 more years until he called it a day.

If those were regarding batsmen who had limited success with double hundreds, it is strange to know that some lesser known cricketer like Marvan Atapattu had six double hundreds to his credit, with three of them coming against Zimbabwe and one against Bangladesh. Even Sachin Tendulkar has just 5 double hundreds to his name which is one less than what Atapattu could manage. Bowlers like Wasim Akram and Jason Gillespie have one hundreds against their name which puts them on par with Ganguly and Kallis off late when their double hundreds are compared. Finally, I'd like to put an end to this topic by dedicating it to my friend with whom I had all these stats which I've put up and with this I say Happy Birthday Buddha!.

Shadow of the Colossus

I have been reading up on this new game I have never heard of before called, "Shadow of the Colossus." It is a game for the Playstation 2 released back in 2005 and I found the game in my research of, are video games art? Many gamers have demonstrated that this game is proof that videogames can be an art form just like cinema or photography. After looking into it, I have found that "Shadow of the colossus" truly is a visual and aural masterpiece that deserves some recognition as some form of art, if not considered art already. Hopefully more gamers will designed games like this one and transform the genre into more than a marketing tool for profit and entertainment. Videogames can be art and eventually everyone will agree.

flash soccer manager 2011 Rapidshare

Hello there – it’s me, your favourite FIFA Manager Mode enthusiast and all-round FIFA lover. I haven’t been around for a while, but for one night only (well hopefully not), you can catch my review of upcoming bundle of joy FIFA 11.

Following on from Dave’s excellent written review, this is mainly an examination of the all-new Career Mode (specifically the management side obviously), and some commentary about the gameplay in this latest FIFA title.

Hopefully this will give you a decent insight into what you can expect from the game this October 1st. This podcast weighs in at a whopping 1 hour 6 minutes, so do make sure you’ve got a cup of tea and your favourite blanket or duvet handy. Especially if you’re on public transport as you listen. Always helps the journey go quicker I find.

Enjoy!

Play 2010 Flash Soccer Manager free online flash game

It’s that time of the week. FSB Friday. Dave and I are back after a nice little break. Rested and raring to go. Topics this week include the new look FSB, the recent Pressure and Career mode articles and the new EA forums.

As Diddy would say. Press Play.

So lately I have been playing World of Warcraft again (mostly as research for my paper, of course!), as the long-awaited Cataclysm expansion was just released last week.

In the new expansion Blizzard has completely graphically rendered the world in the game to look s though a nearly-apocolyptic disaster has taken place: parts of the earth are split wide open to its core, forests are decimated, and molten lava spews over the land. They give the following description on their website:

"Return to Kalimdor and the Eastern Kingdoms to find them scarred by Deathwing’s rage. From the devastated Badlands to the broken Barrens, the transformed lands of Azeroth host new quest lines, new enemies, and new rewards"

Also included in Cataclysm is the introduction of two new races: Worgens and Goblins. Worgens are basically werewolves--they can shift between human and wolf-beast forms--whereas goblins are, well, small and green. Besides the aesthetic factor they introduce, what I truly appreciate about these new races is how beginning game play for each of them is introduced.

When WoW was first released, each race had a brief back-story to give a general idea or context for the character. What was lacking however, was the use of game play as a means of developing a sense of richness to each race's story, as the player progressed the avatar through the game. Upon entering the world for the first time, the player was thrown into a giant open space, where, without any sort of indication or guiding narrative, they would then have to discover that in order to progress through the game, they would have to complete a series of quests that were disconnected, tedious, and didn't bare much relation to the overarching narrative.

However, Blizzard has finally managed to get it right this time around, as the first few moments of game play are informative, narratively rich, and provide a new sense of depth to the character and to the game. For example, I began my adventure as a Worgen, and rather than simply reading a side paragraph about the initial invasion of the Worgen on human society, and the war that ensued, you actually get to participate in this part of the prologue as an introductory tutorial. You play through first few levels of your new character as a human, fighting off the Worgen with cannons, Molotov cocktails, and riding on horses through the town to get everyone to evacuate.

I will leave save everyone for spoilers, but lets just say that then you then proceed through a series of events until you wake up to find yourself shackled as a Worgen yourself!

To be quite honest, after the engaging experience of the prologue--which get you through the first 10-or-so levels--it's almost anticlimactic to be once again set completely free-roam into the open world of Azeroth, where that kind of interactive narrative is hardly replicated. Still, kudos to Blizzard for raising the bar with the new gentle, yet very fun learning curve.

Back to the Classics

As I went through my old emulators on the computer, I stumbled upon Dragon Warrior 3 for the GBC. I remembered this game as one of the fondest I had during my childhood and ended up spending 14 hours completing the game on a faster pace through the emulator. While this game was indeed a game that branched off from others, this game offered a unique chance to create one's own reality through the choices it gave. At the time, I remember being mind-boggled with the choices that were given to me, especially the variety of characters I could choose from. Starting from the typical warriors, mages, and thieves, this game added a wide variety of different classes that offered something unique of their own to the game. Also the sheer size of the world was something not expected to be in a GBA title. With two whole worlds to adventure in, not to mention the dungeons and the variety of monsters, this was a game that offered to me a world that I could play by a set of rules, but also one that allowed for imagination.

Paper-Writing Game? (also VIDEO GAME PARTY INVITE)

Hey friends,
(skip to bottom for video game party info)

I'm currently sitting in Bobst writing the paper for this class and since I've been writing papers for the past 2 weeks, I'm finding myself pretty unmotivated and incredibly distracted (curse you, facebook and twitter...)

Trying to keep myself focused, I decided to make a little game out paper writing. It's definitely not as fun as Pokemon or Super Smash Brothers (particularly because Bobst is a much more depressing arena than the Mushroom Kingdom and the like) but it has made staring at my computer a bit more fun. Here are my rules:
  1. Every time I finish one page, I get to eat a rice krispie treat, ritz bits cheese cracker pack or starburst.
  2. When an album finishes playing on my itunes, I get to go on facebook and twitter.
  3. When I FINALLY finish my paper, I get to leave Bobst, go home and read my new issue of Cosmo.
That last reward may seem silly but it is the ultimate prize because I really hate bobst and would love more than anything to get out of here! I should also note that to help me stay in the gamer mindset, I'm listening to the video game soundtracks from Gimmick!, Final Fantasy, and others.

I've only been able to eat one rice krispie treat so far so I have a ways to go still... but my new game is already helping me stay motivated and focused... I highly encourage my fellow classmates to try it out, changing the rewards as you see fit.

Good luck with finals and papers!

Peace, Love and 1-Ups,
Marisa

P.S. For those who left immediately after class on Friday, a few of us gaming addicts have decided to organize a little video game party (I do believe it is girls vs. guys). Tentatively, it will be this Friday 12/17 around 5pm at my apartment so if you are interested, look me up on facebook and I'll get back to ya! Of course, I will be not be checking fbook until after this Kingdom Hearts soundtrack ends...

wish these had been in place on 14/3/96

One can recall the semi finals between India and Sri Lanka in Eden Gardens where India failed to chase a moderate target of 253 set by Sri Lanka led by Arjuna Ranatunga. More than the loss that India suffered, the match turned out to be the most shameful one for, the crowd turned out to be a mess outright. That would not have happened had, traffic cones been in place. However, one has to feel glad that the incident didn't repeat once again since that day some 14 years down the lane. However, I'd like to emphasize on the importance of parking signs here in this post.

YOu might have come across a situation where you go to watch a cricket match , parking your vehicle at a place that you find is the best for you vehicle. But, that may not seem to be the case with traffic police, which might see your vehicle be towed. But, with decent parking signs, the problem can be solved and incase your thinking matches with mine, I'd rather suggest you to buy your traffic cones here wherein cheap and reliable boards are guaranteed no matter what your needs have to say. Because, things have to be done rather than being said alone.

Infinity Blade... Oh CrAP!!!!!!!

I shall now tell you a tale. Imagine a game where your main character is killed by the final boss and you must play as that character's son in order to exact revenge. NOW imagine you did exact revenge but that hero is killed and HIS son now has to avenge him. This is the premise for Infinity Blade. I assume all of you have downloaded it by now and you know that its by far the most graphically outlandish I Phone game in the history of mankind! I just finished an article that said as long as the I-Phone can't imitate the consoles then it will be ok. Buuuuttt nooooooo!!!!!!! Epic Games had to go and do it anyways and make an awesome RPG experience with fluid touch screen controls, revolutionary graphics, and near unlimited replayability. Thanks a lot Epic....

Yu Suzuki... Really, people!?

Yu Suzuki is a name in gaming that you don't hear that often but if you look at his work and how it's influenced gaming you'd probably be forced to re evaluate you gamer knowledge. To start, his impact can mostly be felt in the area of the arcades but considering his eventual console iterations, the man is a genius! He created the unison fully interactive controls in a 3D(not avatar 3D, Virtua Fighter 3D) landscape in Hang On, Outrun, and Space Harrier. These arcade classics used advanced arcade technology to create faux 3D experiences with 2D graphics and it even incorporated actual steering wheels and motorcycles(Hi motion controls).

Virtua Fighters looked at Street Fighter and decided to add an extra dimension and wanted to use real fighting styles and take away the fireballs. As a result, Tekken, Dead or Alive, Soul Calibur, fighters found the beauty that is the side step. And yes I'm going to rant about Shenmue again! It was one of the first games to give you an entire metropolis to explore. Games like Mega Man Legends and Brave Fencer Musashi gave you this element of freedom and even a day/night cycle but Shenmue made every single character have their own voice as well as giving you full interactivity over your entire environment! Toys in vending machines, kittens, paper on a desk, EVERYTHING! Quick Timer Events were brought back into the mainstream because of him! Hell, they weren't even called that before FREE (Full Reactive Eyes Entertainment. The term used to describe Shenmue's prolific engine.).

I'm sorry to tread on old subjects but 1up.com is celebrating Shenmue and Yu Suzuki. He made free roam exploration, fighting and racing on a third dimensional plane, and pseudo arcade motion controls before Microsoft event thought about making a box with mutant powers and the ability to go online(I kinda lost it here...) After seeing the innovations he pioneered, being used in every other game today and he's not getting any credit!? Really, people?! END NERD RANT...

When an IP becomes obese...

Games like Halo, Kingdom Hearts, and Metal Gear, never had aspiration to become the juggernauts they are today did they? They started out with simple stories and humble beginnings but now its 10+ years later for these franchises and we have characters that have made more cameos than Final Fantasy has had Chocobos(classic, classic...) More story re-tellings, retcons, merchandising, and media crossovers than we've had movies based on games (Coincidentally, Mark Whalberg as Nathan Drake 2012, Be Prepared....) Final Fantasy became so fat it actually wanted to redo some of its old stories and expand on some of its others(just for lolz).

A good deal of gamers will call foul and say that the series is milking itself and exploiting its popularity without trying to put out decent products in terms of games. But some other games can do this till they're blue in the face. I mentioned this before but, when Mario had guest characters like Luigi, Wario, Yoshi, Toad, etc, everyone seemed on board. Mario Kart to Smash Bros left everyone feeling satisfied. But when Sonic showed up with Tails, Knuckles, Shadow, Amy, and Rogue, everyone screamed that they took the "purity" of Sonic away. Mario is practically the video game equivalent of Oprah and he's done everything from play soccer to breakdance. Essentially, no one seems to mind Nintendo straining its "utters".

Sonic and Final Fantasy try to deviate from formula and go into unfamiliar territory only to get attacked by the very same fan base they know and love. The changes aren't even as extreme as Mario going from platformer to party game. Cries of heresy, and a loss of purity on the franchise's part often sounds out. "The old system was better! I hate these new characters!" Some franchises have managed to strive off of innovation and ingenuity while others seem to be cursed by it. Halo tried to be an RTS once upon a time ago and it hasn't since...

Story is another thing all together. Star Wars when it was just Episodes 4, 5, and 6 was one of the greatest fictional universes in pop culture history. When Episode 1, 2, and 3 tried to fill in the gaps, half the universe quoted Samuel L. Jackson (I am tired of these Mother F***in' Prequels in my Mother F***in' franchise!). Let's not even get started at what happened post Episode 6 (I still cry to this day.). Kingdom Hearts had one of the most simple and lovable casts, stories and gameplay elements for its time. But as the series grew so did the story(Final Mixes,. only in Japan, ONLY!! And the interquels are all on systems you don't have... ), the gameplay tweaks (Cards, hated by most, Reaction Commands, liked by some, Shoot Lock, loved by all.), and the diverse cast of characters(Hey, it's Sora! And Roxas is his Nobody, Ven is the original Roxas, Vanitas is his evil clone and Xion is Sora's clone that looks like Kairi, his girlfriend. Got it memorized?) At first, the story is simple enough to follow, but at this point you need a flow chart and a group of researcher just to figure out when everything happened in relation to what. And the fact its never on one system means you've gotta buy every popular system thats out and wait for Square's next move. I can't even try our a Fallout, Red Dead, or Call of Duty because I'm still saving money for a 3DS and Kingdom Hearts 3DS and Re:coded!!!! The crazy thing is I still love the series despite the Final Mixes being only in Japan, the confusing storyline and Nomura's determination to take all of my money (Why, Dude?! I thought we were friends...).

But then comes the occurrence of the franchise that dies, that disappears, that vanishes without a trace. It was popular, it was fun but it just disappears. Street Fighter(post SF3) and Duke Nukem were on this list. Games like Shenmue and Darkstalkers remain stuck in perpetual limbo. Suprisingly, the screams and cries of fans do reach the ears of publishers to a certain extent. We managed to rally enough to bring back Street Fighter, Marvel vs Capcom and Mega Man Legends,(Even Shenmue is coming back in the form of a Chinese only online cellphone game. Yay?) but, sometimes the game suffers too many significant losses in terms of capital. Other times the game is simply overlooked years on end in favor of more compelling IPs. (For some reason, Virtua Fighter 6 and Bayonetta have yet to even be conceived but Yakuza 4 is right around the corner, with zombies :))!

I think we can all agree if any movie is going to be made based on a gaming franchise, the creator MUST be involved on some level, along with a few well informed fans. Especially if you want to go live action! I mean, its an IP based on a game! Why not go CGI 3D!? Because we NEED to see its Jason Statham playing as Kratos(Calm down, calm down, its just a joke...)!? Its hard to contain something so popular to one formula. And as that world expands and the characters grow, keeping track of their progress is very challenging. Even the GTA's and FF's have had their share of challenges in trying to wow people on each new outing because they choose to start from scratch each time (People can only kill so many hookers and behemoths before they say they want something new). All and all, between the IPs that still manage to be on everyone's Christmas shopping list and the IPs that people make petitions for, no IP can ever be milked (unless it has to do with the cow from Earthworm Jim being used in an Angry Bird-esque catapult game). Berserk Online can be told as a really marvelous strategy game, given its mix of classical practice card games gameplay and its special board games elements which make the gaming title even more strategically. Ponting's never stopping attitude

Well he might have failed to win the first test at Brisbane and neither is Ponting happy with the 1st Ashes test ending in a draw which actually Australia should have lost. Though no one is to be blamed for their missed earning opportunities in life, the Australian captain does have someone to point his fingers at after drawing the first test at Brisbane when he shows his lack of interest on the technology for not dancing to his tunes. I wish Ricky Ponting was expecting all umpires in the world to be a follower of Steve Bucknor and Mark Benson.

May be his lack of confidence in the onfield umpires might have provoked him to take the decision himself when he claimed Sourav Ganguly out caught in the famous Sydney test somewhere three years down the lane. Had Ganguly been adjudged "NOT OUT", may be Ricky Ponting's words would have made news on cricinfo three years earlier itself. With that apart, coming to the news, Ponting says that he isn't satisfied with the technology for the sole reason that he couldn't get Cook out when the batsman was on 209. Cook later on went on to win the man of the match award which is a different issue.

Added to that was the fact that Alistair Cook never got out whatsoever. And, the reasons for Ponting to get annoyed with the technology is justified when he could have had another wicket to his team's name on one hand while on the other, a catch extra under his personal name. The article suggests that Ricky Ponting as expected or even suspected if one is not wrong enough, tried to convince not only the onfield umpires but also the third umpire - Aleem Dar saying that the catch was taken. But, unfortunately fortunately, it was not the Border - Gavaskar trophy involving India but the Ashes involving England.

England's influence on world cricket is equally good as is Australia's influence. And, one has to no matter what accept the fact that the Sydney test episode has implanted a fear among the onfield as well as the third umpires before getting into such dirty games. No matter what the influence of Australia has got on world cricket, it would come as no surprise if the umpires do not give the decision in favor of Australia for the fear of having to face the music for the wrong reasons. And, with all these in front of us, Ponting's lack of satisfaction towards the technology can well be understood.

This could be your holiday spot

Well this is December, the month of Christmas followed by the boxing day. And, in just another week, you will all have to gear up for the next big occasion namely the new year which is celebrated across the globe irrespective of the nationality and religion. However, have you ever thought of anything big fr this big occasion? Of course, you would have and if it has got something to do with travel, I'd rather suggest you the site which has made a trademark for itself in Holiday Signs. For any big occasion, the holiday spot you decide should be a memorable one.

There may be thousands of sites that can promise you to give everything what you want. But, with so many opinions in hand, I couldn't get anything better than the one I just mentioned above. Something which has been my experience yesterday could be your's today or tomorrow. So, don't hesitate in giving it a click. It doesn't cost to be there.
