Review of Unity 3D on Frenzoo

Over on the Frenzoo blog, there is a new post called "Why we chose Unity".

It's all about how and why the Unity 3D technology was selected for the the new 3D fashion community, and how it has turned out since then.

For those who don't know, Unity is a 3D platform that lets you build browser based virtual worlds and games easily without having to program the low level engine yourself. It's having a lot of success lately and there are many new games and MMO like Cartoon Networks FusionFall are using the plugin.

Known avatar sites using Unity so far include:
Frenzoo
Just Leap In
Hangout.net

It's an interesting read for those who are in the virtual worlds or games industry and wanting a real-life view of using the platform.

Update - Also check out this blog note about Frenzoo & Unity (in French).

Got a site topic you'd like VR Fashion to explore? Feel free to leave a note.
